hey. along with me fabia iv got a vectra on the drive and the ht leads were replaced no more than 500 miles ago, last night i noticed that just by the plug, one cable seems to be grounding to the block and there are sparks, only when turning on the engine and reving. question is, is that if the garage where i got them changed cant ammit fault or able to get another one, is it advised to electical tape it??

take the spark plug out on the affected cylinder and check that for cracks on the porcelain , also check the gap

electrical tape won't usually stop the spark arcing to earth , it will just find another way to earth
