Impossible Performance in Kent?

Featured Replies

Anyone heard of them?

While on my quest to find a hybrid DV (purely to prevent turbo stall you understand - absolutely not for the childish whoosing noise ;) ) I came across Impossible Performance in Kent.

Spoke to them on the phone and it turns out they seem to be quite big in the VW world - especially the 1.8T scene.... The guy I spoke to pointed me in the direction of this part of their web site (click on the Golf MK4/Bora - menu appears on the left) - there is loads of really cool stuff like FMIC + exhaust systems etc.

Sounds like it could be interesting - I was just starting to get bored of my Octy but this could breathe a new lease of life into it. They seem like they know their stuff - but i've never heard of them?

What do people reckon?

Dave

Do they still do Upsolute? :D

Forgive my ignorance but is that bad?

He he... big boys toys !!!

Couple of pence into the pot from me dave...

1. If you mention cotton gauze oiled filters we all get into a big debate

2. If you feel you need to uprate your Diverter Valve then do so with another diverter valve such as a Forge 007P (these are pretty silent, unless you mount them in reverse which I found lost power). If you try to hook up a Blow of Valve (the ones the 5GT and RS Turbo boys use) to create a WooTsssssssh then you are asking for trouble with feedback to the ECU I think (I know this isn't what you had in mind though :) )

P.S There are STILL Americans on Vortex trying to turn Blitz BOVs into Hybrid DVs with washing up bottles and Straws to get the PTSSSH, I love dropping in to read just for a laaugh :D

Me thinks Jon has a few comments about Upsolute:eek:

Oooohhhh yes
