Valeo XTRM wipers

Featured Replies

Fitted some of the above flat blade wipers and ever since i got them the driveside one always seems to judder untill about halfway up the screen, it really does make using the wipers a pain!

Any ideas what could cause this, ive cleaned the screen and blade countless times with no effect whatsover, imo the rubber on these valeo blades seems very stiff i wonder if thats the cause?

I fitted mine and recieved a broken driver side spring

Nah - they're fine with them. I've had noth the Bosch Aerotwins and the Valeo XTRM's.

What you need to do is check how the blade is sitting on the screen - is it perpendicular to the screen or not. The likelyhood is that it is not which is why the balde is not "flipping over" and the end of each stroke leading to the judder. The solution is to twist the wiper arm to get the blade to sit perpendicular.

Yep, I'm with Mark :iagree:

Should just need a slight 'tweak' of the wiper arm.
