Hi all,

Recently I noticed that my 05 33,000 mile VRS has started to make a scraping grinding noise when full (or near full) left lock is applied. I can't believe it is the cv joints at this milieage. I thought it might me the brakes binding or wearing thin as sometimes happens when slowing down with no lock as well. However car stops o.k, steers o.k and the brake warning light hasn't come on. Any ideas:confused:

Check for small stone between disc splash plate and rotor. Check backplate not too close to the disc rotor. CV joints tend to click rather than grind.
