fixed servicing or variable?

Featured Replies

It is possible to check with VAG COM in the adaption channels of the dash panel insert.

Also the coding of the dash panel changes if you run fixed on variable. Something like the coding ending in 14 for fixed and 24 for variable, but not 100% on that.

my service book indicates the car is set to QG1 but i do more town miles than anything else so wanted it servicing every 10K miles.

i cant remember the oil they put on the bill but in my mind it wouldnt matter if it was cheaper oil that wasnt long life, i'm not running the car in a long life regime so its impossible it could give less protection than another oil.

afterall Autosales have put the oil in, if its wrong and something lets go then its down to them... i have the bills to prove it.
