Lumbar support wheel not working

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have a 2002 Octavia & this week the lumbar support adjustment broke when I sat into the car. The wheel now turns freely but does nothing. Is there anyway of accessing the mechanism to repair it or adjusting it manually so that the support is in the position I want.

Thanks,

Tim

It's possibly just the cable that has come off, it happened on my Mk2 vRS, I got it done on warranty though. I can't remember if the octy has zip off seat covers, if it has you could unzip them and have a look. It's not common for the cable to become detached but it does happen
