Hi guys has anyone removed the protective door mouldings from their octavia , i have a 2002 tdi that has black door moulding strips howevre i notice the newer models dont have this , is it possible to remove them and if so whats the best way? joe

The bumper ones front and back just unclip

The side ones are glued on so you'll need to heat them up with a hot air gun (mind the paintwork) to get them off.

Could try spraying them to match the rest of the car and then put them back on?

The is an indentation in the door underneath them - look for a base model (usually taxis!) and you'll see what I mean.
