It's very simple.

Jack up and support car both sides and remove both road wheels.

Using 18mm spanner disconnect droplinks to arb.

Remove 13mm bolt on each bush clamp using a socket, I couldn't get a spanner on the bolt

Lift the clamp upward using a screwdriver and pull bar away on each side.

The bar now slides towards you allowing access to the bush.

I removed the bracket then the bush and greased the subframe where the bush meets, the bush bracket where it contacts, the arb at the point where the bush sits and finally the bush all over and inside. Do this both sides then reassemble in reverse. Be aware that the bush is retained in the bracket one way and slides out the other so make sure the bush sits firmly in the bracket before bolting everything up.

I used copper grease as I think it will last better than standard grease.

Ah it is so lovely to be squeak/creak free :D

Funny you should mention this - my poly ARB bushes are creaking :D

Oooh Rob , have you got a dry bush too

Sorry , this thread has made me laugh

Sarah

Was well looked after by a sofly spoken Liverpudlian bloke who's name I failed to get.

Sadly no Awesome brew for me :orb_upset

Ah bless...... thank you

I will make sure I am here for the next one to meet you

I will also make sure you get 2 "Awesome" brews too

You see they do miss me when I am not here :D

I think it could have been John that looked after you , he does have his moments :D

Sarah

I've just read this thread. I'd have used a lithium grease rather than Copaslip, but that's the only variation.

I am happy with the copaslip as it has cured the problem. Have never used lithium grease, whats the benefits with it Ken? :o

High resistance to water washing, but rather cheaper and cleaner than Copaslip!
