Like that :), looks much neater and also looks OEM.

I tempted to do that to mine even though it is already black.

Are those the Skoda Octavia Combi middle and rear door pillar trims - Pn: KGA 093 008 - which you can get from your dealer?

They certainly look like they should be there.

I think it looks alot better

That's the ones. 20 quid, and they give you a tool to smooth them on. Instructions are rubbish and you have to guess which is which. Also there's two extra. No idea where for!

I'll stick more pics on my skoda page in a bit :D

If it's anything like the kit for my Fabia, the two extra ones attach to the B pillar itself so it looks black when a door is open.

That looks so much better. Amazing how a bit of black tape can completely change the look of a car! ;)

Never thought of that!

A few more details here

Yep the extra bits will be for the B pillars. This mod looks great on the Fabia too (other than on black of course!). It's how they should look from the factory. For the sake of a few pence worth of black plastic, it would make the whole range look more classy IMHO. Skoda seem to be trying to made a virtue of paint-coloured pillars - even the new Octavia has them!

shame its red! Only 1 car should be Red and it aint a Skoda, take it back man!

But I like red :D

Plus: I couldn't get silver 'cos my dad has a silver estate. :( My last two cars had been black and I wasn't sure about yellow...

 really improves the side profile..... now, tints.. :D

I am seriously considering light tints.

SWMBO say Monkeyboy's car at VWNW and said "It looks really good with tints". So that sounds like I won't get into much trouble if I go ahead and do it :D

Anyone have any recommended tinting people in the West Yorkshire area?

Looks good to me. I like the red, but I can't help thinking that it needs a blue light on top.......

My wife's Astra is a similar shade of red, and we call it the fire engine, especially after the place she works almost burned down!

You can, yes. I don't have the part number to hand but if you have a look in the extras brochure in the dealer. They're near the back. Failing that a search of Briskoda will probably, oh b_gger it, hang on...
