does anyone have a contact for mathepac AKA pat?

Featured Replies

just bought some 312mm brake set off him a couple of weeks ago, paid the money but haven't heard anything, seems like a genuine guy, would like to know whats going on.

cheers for your help

tom

Hope this doesn’t sound obvious, but have you tried to PM him?

Just had a look at his profile and he hasn’t posted since the 19th of November. Perhaps he is away somewhere

I wouldn't worry too much as I'm sure their is a genuine reason for the delay and why Pat hasn't gotten back to you. :)

He is a genuine chap and I doubt anything dodgy is going on. He even rang me the other day asking if I was OK to go look at a local MR2, but he never confirmed it was ok to visit. :)

smashing thanks very much

Thought I hadn't seen him post much lately. I'm sure everything will get sorted out

Was trying to find his number but Al's bet me to it :) Sure it won't be down to Pat if there is a delay more likely customs or the courier :o

hi all sorry to bringing this up but i have still not had any luck thus far with either getting in touch, receiving my items or getting my money back, which is what i need as the pads and the discs on the car are nearly gone so need them replacing asap, but i dont have enough money to do so with insurance, service, tax and mot coming up any help would be massively appreciated as i paid for callipers on 20th november!!!!!!

if i cant get any luck then i will have to inform the police which is a route i do not wish to go down

thanks for any help in advance

tom

I see that he last visited Briskoda on 16 Jan 2009.

20th november... thats aweful.. real shame to see on Briskoda :(

This happened to me a year ago. Only lost out about £35, but since then I always insist on paying by PayPal. Hope you get your money back.

Did you pay by cheque? If so has it been cashed?

hate to see stuff like this happening! hope you either get the parts or your money back chap!!

I take it the number I gave you still didn't work?

Seems he's posting over here....maybe worth joining.

Also active today.

Seems to be the same username, and in Ireland too.

Oh the irony :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Bad form if you ask me though.

I know...couldn't have picked a worse forum ! :D

Hopefully the OP can get a hold of him.

This as got me really shocked, after spending a week touring europe with the guy he just didn't come across as someone who would do something like this, and the last contact I had on here he was mulling over organising a tour round Ireland :(, hopefully there will be a simple explanation.

Without jumping to defend the guy, there is the chance he's overlooked something here, and forgot all about it etc..

But then, surely he'd see his PM's etc...

Guilty until proven innocent and all that

I assume that you have tried e-mailing him? (with the e-mail address he uses for paypal)
