Functional Control Modules ?

Featured Replies

I would much appreciate information regarding just what functional control modules are active and selectable for the Fabia 1's via the genuine

Ross-tech VCDS.

The address and component name would be perfect.

Thanks Jake.

If you do an AutoScan it will try all possible controllers for the car and only provide information on those that are fitted.

Stu. I think I have asked the right question.. But not in the correct format.

I have got various obd readers none appear to be much good apart from giving fault codes.. Viz. Obd-key and Elm Pro-scan.

The idea is to finally get a genuine Ross-tech.

But I would like to really know before parting with hard earned cash just what modules are funtional on the Tdi pd130..I had a Revo fitted but at the last rolling road the power was down so much from 170 to 150 made me wonder just how durable the revo is..

I had the car serviced but no fault codes or anything else was found wrong.

So thought I would get aRoss-tech VCDS, lead etc and

sort the power loss out myself.

Would still like to know what engine management modules are available.

Cheers Jake.

Ok, and without wishing to be rude I don't think you understand what you are asking for with regard to

what functional control modules are active and selectable for the Fabia

Control units are numbered according to their function, eg

1 would be engine controller, 56 radio, 37 navigation, 16 steering controller, 19 CAN gateway etc.

These units will only be accessable if fitted, and if they are fitted really depends on the specification pf the car.

So for a MK1 Fabia (6Y chassis) the following are possible

01,02,03,08,09,15,17,19,25,37,44,46,55,56,76

Try taking a look at the interactive guide on the Ross-Tech website and hopefully it will make things clearer.
