Does anyone have a "guide" on how to remove the plastic trim on my hatch door on my estate? At the moment it doesnt seem to be properly attached.

It'll just be clipped in with metal spring-clips. You'll need to pull one corner away from the boot lid, then work you way round. Reattaching it is probably best done with the boot lid CLOSED and you sitting in the boot!

You dont suppose I would break anything, small plastic taps, springs etc? I am pretty sure that a new trim are going to cost me an arm

Thanks Sworrall, its almost the same I guess, mine is an estate, don't know how different it is compared to the hatchback. It could very well be one of the metal "springs" that are dodgy. I have replace others in my car hiding behind plastic trim that doesn't sit as tight as wanted.

Fyi theres a screw in the area where the pull down handle is. Then starting at the actual lock pull trim out, needs a good tug.
