I have just got my self a Fabia 1.9 TDI.

Its very clean, low mileage, and in great condition.

Was owned by a forum member micmason123 who has really looked after it.

He used to have vRS alloys on the car but unfortunately didnt sell them with the car.

I think they are now on eBay, I have seen them up close and they are in great condition, no scrapes, they look pretty much brand new.

Anyways getting to my point, what would be a good price to pay?

£250?

YOu are going to have to buy 2 new tyres remember.

£50 each possibly.

I'd say about £200 or so.

I have seen them and they prob wouldnt need changing for a few months (i dont do too many miles), so wouldnt need to buy new tyres for a while.

Well I will aim to bid to £200, if it goes more, then I will go upto £230.

I don't mean to ask a silly question.. but why didn't you buy them at the time you bought the car?

I couldnt afford them at the time, sounds silly i know, but all my money went on the car.!

Have now been paid, so I am interested in them. I searched on eBay for some, and he was selling his on there. I know they are in good condition, and everything, so now want them.!!

I'd contact him and explain that you bought the car and now you have the finances for the wheels.

He might do you a deal and save you getting into a bidding war.

I'm (hopefully) in the process of upgrading my vRS standards to some 17" Octy spiders, which means i'll have to find a home for the standards.

I actually have the below set on my watch list to see what kinda price i should be asking for. Mine are in an equally good condition (bit of kerbing by previous owners but nothing too serious) and would come with 4 good tyres (5mm+ all round 2 conti's 2 from another top brand that escapes my memory now)

Might not be available until after Christmas but if ur interested we can work summin out

These alloys had no kerbing at all, and where totally mint.
