Last night I just discovered in my Mk1 vRS - which I probably should have noticed before now but never really used them (but it was foggy last night) - is that when you turn on the fog lights as well as the symbol on the instrument cluster thing, the little symbol on the light switch changes from Green to Yellowey Green!

Hi, So I am going on a long 1000mile journey so just wanted to make sure everything was up to date. I have updated the maps via sd card. I went onto the infotainment settings and tried to do a update but it says invalid licence which seemed odd as I have everything in date both subs available and everything else seems to work so thinks i have tried delete main user factory reset delete from app and started again nothing seems to have worked I can update maps with no issue well it just

I owned a 2017 Superb Mk III and recently swapped to a Mk IV and love the car apart from one very dangerous fault. Occasionally, the car decides I’m about to hit something and slams on the brakes - so hard, that you think you have hit something! It has happened several times whilst manoeuvering at low speed in reverse which is somewhat disquieting. But it has also recently done it whilst driving forwards - in no way on any occasion was there a risk of collision with either stationary or mobile

My dealer just emailed me to make booking for it's 2 year service and said I should change brake fluid and have Aircon serviced at the same time, while I understand the brake fluid change, (something years ago we never did at 2 years) im not sure the Aircon needs doing. What's owners views on having these done, car is only on 6k miles and Aircon works great, is it just to get more money out of owners?

I recently bought a used 2024 (built 2023) diesel Octavia Vrs. Although my phone - Motorola G9play - shows on the Skoda website as compatible with the infotainment system, I have been unable to link the phone after multiple attempts. Has anyone had this as an issue and found a solution?
