iPod Video Converter

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I am looking to see if anyone can give me any recommendations as to what program they use to convert their DVD's to allow playback on a 1st generation iPod Touch.

I have been using Vidoera iPod Touch converter and TBH its a hit or a miss sometimes.

What are you guys and girls using, if any.

PM if you dont want it on the forum.

Cheers.

I use CloneDVDmobile. Quick and easy to use.

I take the video from the dvd using dvdshrink, and then once it's on the computer I use auto gordian knot to convert it.

I used something called videora Videora iPod Converter - Free iPod Video Converter

it is uber easy to use!

Thats what i use. It seems that the problem i have been having with it is down to a specific american company that makes childrens films.

All other DVD's have worked fine.

i use winavi. works perfect every time.

Hi, interesting thread

After reading this, I downloaded dvdshrink, then videora.

My problem is when I have shrunk the film onto my Hard drive it does it in 5-6 segments.

I have tried to group them all together but I cant figure out how to do it

How do I get them to be all in one continuos film, instead of sections?

TIA

Damian

There is an option in shrink to cut the vob files into 1Gb chunks, try turning that off.

Edit, Preferences, Output Files.

Alternatively Damien,

You could use DVD Decrpter and follow the guide on the Videora site.
