Must stop having days off

Featured Replies

I really must stop having days off as I end up spending money on my car. :D

Got my PD160 intake today & fitted it with a shiny new pipercross filter. Only got my reversing camera & oil temp gauge to go.

Same here, just got back from RS Tuning having spent a wedge:D

What temp gauge have you got? Check out the Demon Tweeks Motorsport section or

GPR - Arai, Alpinestars, Sparco, Bell, Tilton: Motorsport Equipment Store

for a sender.

Ive just fitted a Stack oil temp gauge so give us a shout if your unsure of anything:thumbup:

Haven't got the gauge yet although most likely this - UNIVERSAL SMOKED OIL TEMP TEMPERATURE GAUGE 52MM °C BN on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 12-Dec-08 18:52:00 GMT)

As it will match by boost gauge then.

My main problem is where to mount the sender, see this thread here - http://briskoda.net/ask-tech/fitting-oil-temp-sensor/129629/

Reversing camera!!!

Why? Havent you got a rear windscreen?

Just messing, Good effort mate. What are you playing the pictures on? Headunit im guessing?

Got pics and 'how too' ready to post up right? lol.

Yeah but that means turning round or using the mirror. :thumbdwn:

The pictuer will be viewed on my HU, will be putting up pics once completed & a short how to.

I bought my sump plug adaptor from Tweeks.

It just replaces the normal one and you just pick the right one for your sender,

You will need an M14x1.5 to either 1/8NPT or M10x1 (depending on sensor)

Just remember a lot of the oil temp senders earth through the threads so just use a

little PTFE tape on a small part of the thread

In fact, Im gonna take some pics of my new gauges for you all to see:cool:

Well got my volt gauge & oil temp gauge fitted today, the oil one is just wired up to light up etc as I still need to get the sensor mounted in the engine somewhere. Will post up pics later.
