does anyone know what gearbox oil is used in a 04 vrs fabia and beat place to buy it

I believe it is 75w90 fully synth. Unsure where to buy it - any motor spares type place, even Halfrauds. "SAE 75w90" appears to be the magic code.

yup my haynes manual agrees

It does also say "Skoda G50 synthetic gear oil". Can pick it up from the stealers

Although there are drain and level bungs so use em i say.

I remember reading 2.2 litres... i might have that wrong though! Will check the haynes in a bit

just to follow up:

transmission 02T is 1.9 litres

transmission 02R is 2.0 litres

to be safe i'd probably grab 3 think they're sold in litre bottles
