How do, love the site.

After many a B-M-(Trouble) -U. I've bought a Octy Mk1 estate VRS.

Been new I've no idea what oil she uses, Skoda say 0w30 or 5w30 is fine

Now she has over 120k on the clock so any suggestions on what oil to use would be

much appreciated

Hi, thanks for the reply.

The Service Schedule book has it as QG1 (extended service) with variable length of service intervals with oil spec VW503 00.

What I would like to know is if I can use a Castrol 5W30 or should it be 0W30?
