Was it a genuine VAG replacement unit?

 

Edit, just seen your post in the mk2 octavia section, which model do you have, mk1 or mk2?

I replaced 2 after market ones and 1 original vw part I have a octavia 1.9 tdi pd 2008

Could it be an oil change ??? As it came on after that
