Coleshill to Atherstone.

Couple of speed cameras around Shustoke.

Heading uphill towards a church spire there is a tight left hander at the top of the hill approaching the Griffin Inn pub. Watch out for cars exiting the pub car park immediately after the left hander.

Descent from the Griffin has a fuel depot on the left. Fuel tankers regularly turning, be aware of possibility of diesel spillage. Never seen any spills there, and I've been using the road regularly for about 20 years. Just a heads up.

Into Furnace End, straight on at the crossroads.

Lots of up and down left right stuff. Nice straight that opens up to swift curves. Visibility good, but watch out for pheasants!

Be on the look out for people crossing the road at the Horse and Jockey pub in Bentley. The car park is the opposite side of the road to the pub. Don't follow signs for B4116 Baxterley, stay straight on for Atherstone.

Gentle descent with a few twisties as you pass some ornately thatched cottages on the left. Followed by a brief rise in the road. Straight descent with high walls near to the edge of the road. They keep the riff raff out of Merevale Hall.

Hump backed bridge over the canal as you enter Atherstone.
