"no entry" error message

Featured Replies

bought an 05 octavia II yesterday - and just as i was about to drive it off the forecourt a "service now" message appeared. So they took it in the garage returned it after half an hour saying it was fixed - but now ive got a "no entry" message. No information appears on the screen. I couldnt wait for them to take it back in the garage because the plavce i bought it from was over 100 miles away and i had to get back home

Has any one else had this error message.

Even with this problem though i like it better than by 95 fiesta

i feel like posting a picture of it - but you all know what octavias look like anyway so i wont bother

never heard of that one. glad you like your octavia though. what engine is it?

Usually that message comes up if you try and fiddle with the settings while the vehicle is moving.

Can you access the menu by holding down the button on the bottom of the wiper stalk? if you can then select the menu and you should see 'MFD', select it to bring up the drive computer data.
