Drivers seat padding gone.

Featured Replies

It seems the padding in my drivers seat has gone, specifically the right hand part (bolster?) so Im sitting on a bit of metal. Is this fixable? (read where can i get it fixerd) or is a replacement seat the best option.

I imagine Seat Surgeons would be able to fix it for you.

yes you can fix it, you need to buy the new foam base from skoda, its about £60ish, and is a complete base and bolster replacement. You need to take the cover off the seat (basically strip the bottom part of the seat including the leather/mesh cover which is very very fiddly) but with time and a lot of patience and even more swearing it can be done, its not fun tho but well well worth it!!!!
