My alarm activates an hour or more after locking the car and the dash indicates the boot-lid open.The agency has fitted a new bootlatch/switch,but it still happens.I`ve taken the back three times and they don`t seem to know how to fix it.Can anyone advize them please?It`s an 05 Octavia autamic DSG. saloon.

Welcome to briskoda, sounds like a dodgy alarm sensor maybe the bonnet, my fabia had that problem last week.
