People with W/I, What size jets you running?

Featured Replies

Hi, got my water injction up and running, currently running a 3gph nozzle post turbo and a 1gph nozzle pre turbo, factory set pump pressure. Gave a flat 15-20bhp increase form 2,500 to 5000 rpm on the rolling road..

Have been looking into:

  1. Putting a 5gph nozzle in post turbo
  2. Increasing Pump Pressure

to see if we can get any better results.

Also, what boost pressure you got it set to come on at?

Finally, has anyone run reclaimed methanol, approx 90-92% pure but can buy 200litres for about £20.... Much cheaper than pure methanol

I will only run pure :) What is the other 8 to 10%?

My one nozzle is about 3GPH - I think it is a 275ml/min nozzle which works out about the same

Mine cuts in at 0.8 bar and is max flow by the time it reaches 2 bar. :)

Running a single 5GPH nozzle. Been too busy to bother ordering a 1GPH preturbo to speed up the spooling....

Not a clue....

I just twiddled the twiddly thing until when I set off the car tried to kill me, and then turned it down a bit, to 'near death' mode.

HTH.

Today, I fitted the 5gph nozzle in post turbo and boy what a difference! Will now spin the wheels up in 5th gear down the country lanes. I estimate it to be about 10-15hp more all through the rev range. It also pulls much better right upto 5000rpm

Well worth the change, now to try playing with injection pressures and cut in points etc

When you say 10-15hp increase, was that over the already 15-20hp increase from just fitting the kit? What pressure pump do you have atm?
