I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Over the last year the engine light ( the yellow one that lookes like an engine, exhaust emmision light) keeps coming on.

We have had a new oxygen sensor, and exhaust canister.

Now they are saying the ECU has gone because it was giving wrong codes even when nothing is wrong.

Do you think we should go ahead with it?

Around £500 to get it sorted.

Personally I would go somewhere else for a second opinion don't tell them about the ECU just the parts you have changed and see what they come back with (also if you have a VAG - COM post up your codes
