Hi there, the bonnet release on my Fabia Vrs has sheared off, that is the bit that sticks through the grill when you crack the bonnet from inside the car.

How easy is it to get the part I am looking for and how easy is it to change, hope that there is someone out there that can help me with this, for the time being I have done a temp repair..

The part is about £3 and it just unbolts from the release under the bonet, mine went and it was easy.

Just get one from your local Skoda dealer.

That bit of plastic is quite tough. Where did it break? Or has the bolt/nut simply come undone? Either way, I should have a spare one soon that I would only want postage to cover.
