Removing Rear wiper arm?

Featured Replies

hey, i recently bought a rear wiper arm from a polo and i wana change it over with the standard fabia arm.

I cant seem to get the arm off?? i taken the bolt off but it just wont pull off seems like something is stoping it:S helpp me please haha

thanks alot

Its a real pain to remove, but it will come off.

I had to lift the wiper away from the glass and wiggle and tug on the base of the arm in order to get it off.

It will come, but it takes a bit of courage to use force, and patience not to overdo it.

try using a 50p between arm and spline, in the gap and twist.

yeaa thats what i mean i worried it might break it or something lol does the new polo wiper go on easier than they come off?

The new wiper goes on much easier. If you have access to some copper grease, smear a bit inside the thread of the new wiper arm and it should prevent it sticking as bad in future.
