I'm looking at chopping my 06 Oct L&K in for a new 09 Oct L&K next year, and notice there's a few differences between mine and the 'current' one, but what I can't grasp from the brochure is what does the Audience radio look like? Is it better than the Stream radio? I'm guessing so, but there's no image of it in the book.

Also, does anyone know if the rear parking sensors bring up an on screen image in the radio display like my Stream radio?

I need to get my hands on a brochure for the new Octavia though, just to see what other changes there are, anyone know where I can get one? My local dealer hasn't got any.

My 2007 MY L&K (so the new L&K but pre-face lift) has the audience unit. The rear sensors do bring up a display on the screen.

In general I find it a good unit. 6 cd changer built in which can read MP3's so imagine 6 cd's full! That is a lot of music. It shows the time and outside temp display so keeps the passenger happy. You can also set it up to record TA programmes off the local radio so when you get in your car am/pm you can listen to any recent traffic problems before you set off.

Nice! I should probably read my manual, but seeing as it's currently 250 miles away, it's probably quicker to ask how you get it to record TA programmes? Sounds quite a handy feature.

As I understood, if you want new L&K next year, it will be facelifted model and it should bring Bolero HU instead of Audience. Bolero is the same as Audience, but is more modern HU, has a touch screen and SD/MMC card reader.

Well, it's going to be ordered in the next few weeks, so I don't know whether it would be the current one, or the facelift one, even the dealer I called in at today couldn't tell me when the new model officially launched :thumbdwn:

I'm 1/2 excited and 1/2 apprehensive to see what features are/aren't included on the new facelift model... need a brochure ASAP, lol
