Coolant warning light flashing ???

Featured Replies

GOT A 04 FABIS VRS WHEN FIRST STARTED , THE COOLANT WARNING LIGHT FLASHES . CHECKED THE COOLANT LEVEL AND STRENGTH SEEMS TO BE OK .

THE WAY I GET RID OF IT IS LEAVE IT RUNNING FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES AND THEN TURN THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON AND IT SEEMS TO SOLVE IT .

HAS ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS , IS IT JUST DOWN TO THE COLD WEATHER OR IS IT THE SENSOR FOR THE EXPANSION BOTTLE NOT TO SURE THATS WHY IM PUTTING IT OUT THERE

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT

probably the sensor if your level is ok

Could well be the sensor in the bottle.

Treat yourself to a new header tank, they aren't expensive and are easy to fit.

p.s, no need to shout ;)
