I am new to forums but hope I have come to the right place to get the best advise on a current problem I have with my Octavia II 2.0TDi Elegance.

It is to do with misting up so much at times that it ends up with condensation and is bad enough to have to pull over to try and clear it, which is very difficult! I have both a chamois leather and a special 'clear windows' cloth handy but sometimes neither work. Putting the blower onto windscreen and putting on the rear window demister actually seems to make it worse more often than not once it starts. Also, on these very cold mornings, the windscreen has been freezing up on the inside. There is no obvious sign of any water getting in anywhere and no smell of damp. Anyone seen this before or can help with this please - much appreciated.

Not sure on your exact problem but has your octy got aircon? If you stick the aircon on first thing then that should take the condensation away, we have this problem onour fabia and we use the air con to clear the screen first thing in the morning.

Another thing we do at this time of year is to turn the blower from windscreen to floor and turn the temperture from hot to cold.
