vRS on Eibachs

Featured Replies

Soon I'm going to buy vRS, but I want a sports car, somewhy Skoda consider it should be rather high.. I want some fender. Did someone put Eibach without changing the absorbers? On my previous car I did so - but that was usual Octavia with Bad Roads package.. That was really terrible untill I bought Koni Sport. Will it be the same?

VRS195 has Eibachs only and he seems to like it although I understand that the ride is quite hard.

I thought my last vRS wasn't low enough but strangely my new TDI is noticeably lower and looks all the better for it.

Personally I would go for the Koni FSDs (in conjunction with Eibachs) if you want to go lower.

I wanted to change just springs. testing vRS i was completely happy of how it drives and dont think there is need to change shocks

By changing the springs it will be different from as tested so how would you know?

Unless you have driven one with the Eibachs then you cant say you'd be happy - its very different.

Eibachs on standard dampers just didnt do it for me - the ride was too fidgety and bouncy. Changing the dampers to FSD's is a whole new ball game however!:D

Don't ever let her drive a standard one then as she'll wonder why its more comfortable, composed and smoother.
