the fuse for the cig lighter whitch position it is in and what amp

After a quick google, it seems to be fuse no 42, and is a 15 amper. Fuse 42 is on the column of fuses closest to the engine, and 4 down from where the "big" fuses start.

My VRS has a dummy plastic cig lighter with no wiring?

Any idea's why that would be

I do not wish to use it for the cig lighter bit, but it would be handy for a small vacume cleaner

or other accessories

They normally come with the plastic dummy "lighter", but the socket is still functional. Are you sure that there is no wiring to it?

Perhaps it has become detached and is somewhere under the centre console.
