Some of the bulbs in my middle rear brake light have stopped working. 2 at either end still work but the middle ones don't work. Is there any way of fixing this or will i have to get a complete new unit from Skoda?

Not bulbs but hi intensity LEDS. Can be fixed, but easier to fit new unit.

Has anyone replaced this part before? is it easy to do yourself?

Sorry mate I got impatient and went and bought one for 25 quid! Ah well, thanks for the offer anyway.

Anyone who is thinking of doing this repair themselves, go for it. It is really easy. Skoda were gonna charge me 35 quid for the repair, 10 quid more than the part itself! Its a 5-10min job even for a novice like myself so save yourself the labour charges!

Well someone has to keep the stealers going!
