fuel filter change interval

Featured Replies

happy new year to you all,im planning to carry out a 110k service on my 04 vrs & just wondered what the mileage/time interval is to change the fuel filter? car has been dealer serviced until i got it so other than a stamped book ive no idea when & what filters have been changed.i will probably change all but just wondered what intervals are. thanks.:)

probably hasnt been changed but worth a check with skoda, I changed mine at 40k and will do every 20k now, and when replacing it use a zip tie instead of reusing the clamp which can pierce the filter.

I change my fuel filter every 10k (oil every 5k), for how much they cost and it only takes a few minutes.

Steve:)

There is no interval for the petrol fuel filter.

As Steevie says, it's so cheap and easy to do, it's worth doing every service.

Im changing the following every 10,000miles just to be safe:

Oil filter, oil, sump plug and washer, air filter, fuel filter, pollen filter and spark plugs.

Not sure when each of these have been changed last, but I would rather know they have been done and done recently :)
