My Felly has just failed it's MOT due to the silver ion the reflector of the headlamp. I have looked in ebay, but they don't seem to have any at the moment. I was wondering if any VW gheadlamps would fit a 1997 1.9D hatchback felicia. I ask this, as I have been quoted £96 for a new lamp which I cannot afford, but ebay have loads of VW headlights fairly cheap. Any help will be very welcome.

i was at my local scrappies today getting a new door lock and they have a few in dont think they would be dear . shewalton car spares in Irvine Ayrshire tel :-01294272285 hope this helps:thumbup:

there is a thread that talk about VW angel eyes headlights on pre-face lift felicias, so i guess you might want to look at the Stock light, they should fit too

Thanks for that, but it is the wrong one as it is for a 2000 model instead of a 1997.

The breakers yard in Ayrshire say they have a headlamp from a T reg Felicia. Now my one is an R reg which is 1997. Can anyone tell me if the headlight would fit as I think it changed during that period of time and would not fit. Any help will be very welcome.

sorry they weren't any use mate you could try breakeryard.co.uk or theres a few other similar sites .

I think I know of one place where you could get them. It is a scrappy that I have got a few things for my felly and other cars as well so if you want I could try and get them for you. Is it both lights you need? I will give them a call in the morning.

20 quid+vat for a NEW GENUINE FELICIA PRE 98 O/S/F can't be bad + they also sell second hand.

Ouch, I wish I had seen that before hand. But I had to spend out on a new one from my local Skoda garage. However, she is now on the road and fully legal which is what matters most. Thank you everyone for your help.
