Hi. just wondered what the best pressures are for the 205/50/17 tyres on the Octavia mk1 vrs.

The ones in the filler flap are good place too start, failing that the handbook, failing that try searching the site for opinions.

Thanks guys i have mine at 30psi all round at the moment and it feels pretty good. i just wondered if anyone had tried experimenting?

I've got mine at 32psi at the front and 30 at the rear. Seems to run ok.

I'd start with the pressures from the fuel filler, and change by 2 or 3 PSI if I got a characteristic over or underinflation wear pattern.

What make of tyres are you running, because that makes a difference too; Toyo T1-Rs seem to work better 2PSI up on standard.
