Yip get the Helix .... no DMF problems in the future and not as harsh as a Spec plus the Helix will be all you'll ever need, Jabba ran theyres at 247bhp and did 2nd gear launches

bought the helix for mine! couple of quid over £800 from demon tweeks including flywheel clutch case and new bearing!

gets fitted on 17th march along with all the other bits!

tbh i ran a really harsh map before that blew my turbo and even though the car is mapped down a little bit now the car is 78k with FSH and im sure its still on the original clutch and have experienced no slipping at all????

Mines on 81K now and i've only had the tuning box on since Thursday lastweek. I tend to drive the VRS like my Polo 16v, rev it up through the power range in each gear, change up then start again. I feed the power in pretty smoothly. But even still between 2500-3000 rpm it still slips!

Probably going for a Helix too

I had slip in 4th-6th which I lived with for a year. Then went for what I think is the most reliable solution - SMF and an uprated clutch (Jabba I think). Being thick i handed the car over to my local VW specialist and asked them to sort it. £1200 later I can boot it in any gear. I have a couple of issues with gear selection (reverse is a pain), sometimes the clutch "engages" when I'm stationary in traffic and it rattles a lot in Neutral. I'm happy though, I can boot it in all gears and its fine.
