Hi everyone!

First time posting on here and i'm looking for some advice. I'm thinking about buying a Fabia Vrs and wondered if there's anything I should be looking out for with regards problems, common faults etc?

I've found a SE on pistonheads:

Seems like a good deal to me but what do all the Fabia experts think? Reckon I could get in for 9000. Was looking at dealers and they seem to vary from 10000-12000 for a SE! I would want a remap on it anyway so looks like an even better deal to me. Looking for as new as possible so i get the manufacturers warranty hence why i'm looking at SE's. The extra kit on the SE seems worth the money as well.

Any advice would be appreciated before I view it.

Looks a nice car mate, make sure all the paperwork is there for all mods carried out. Thats a cracking price as I was looking at SE's before I picked up our Fabia but the prices at the time were about £11k.

if you know what number it is special edition number it might be on the register on this forum in this section.

Common faults to look out for are leaky door seals, which result in the passenger footwells bein soaking but there is a guide to how to fix it, maybe you can knock the price down more if any problems which you could fix yourself.
