I have two warning lights (Eng management and EPC) and a very loud humming noise.....

EPC - is this related to bulbs? Yesterday I had to replace both brake lights and was driving with none in while I travelled to the local Halfords. At this point, the EPC light came on. Is this likely to be the reason for the EPC?

Eng management - intermittantly on and off.....

Humming - the noise is loud and quite a high pitch (like the squeek on a buses breaks) and comes from the rear light. I dont get it all of the time and can start out of nowhere. It is extremely loud on the motorway and very irritating. The noise stops when I brake but the brakes arent binding. I drove with the window down to hear it and it is very audible from the outside. The noise does not change pitch but could it be a bearing? Any other ideas?

I need some good advice cos its getting me down!

EPC - Electronic Power Control

The warning lights probably both relate to the same fault.

The humming noise might well be something like a stone under a rear disc shield.
