Downpipe Lambda Spacer?

Featured Replies

Would this fit my Jetex downpipe? It's got a 100cel cat, so don't want the CEL coming on ;)

Cheers!

In theory yes.

Useful!

Cheers chaps- I'll get it ordered- pretty cheap so doesn't matter too much if it doesn't fit. I'll keep you posted :)

It will screw in, however IIRC the second lamba probe usually points upwards so may be a bit tight on clearance.

Ah, OK. Have seen some L-shaped ones on VW Vortex, but dunno where to get one- any ideas?

You didn't buy it then? Was just wondering if it worked :D

Bought it, but the lambda was sticking up to high, so couldn't use it. Need an L-shaped one. My mechanic reckons he can get one made up by a local fabricator, but I'm gonna hold fire as the engine light hasn't come on at all... yet.

Andy, in all the years I had my Octy vRS with a turbo back Blueflame and a 100 cet sports cat, it never failed the MOT once, and the cel light never came on as a result of the cat/exhaust.

Sorry Gerry used your line...:P
