Frozen Windscreen...............inside?!

Featured Replies

Morning,

Came to my car this morning, it was pretty cold -2/3 so as you would expect if was pretty frozen, after I de-iced all the car I noticed there was a layer of ice inside the windscreen surely its not that cold?! So has anyone else had problems with this?

Thanks,

Chris

You need to check for water inside your car, especially check the footwell carpets as the fabia is known for dodgy seals around the door. Moisture inside will condense on the glass and freeze, especially in the current conditions.

Thanks, i had a feeling that it may be the door seals! Is it a costly repair? Day by day i'm realising how much the vrs is not a good car in the winter!

Shouldnt be to bad, especially if you DIY. There is a guide here somewhere.
