(Fabia 1.6 SPORT) Installing a Seat Ibiza Cupra Muffler

Featured Replies

I want to replace my current muffler with the one installed on a Seat Ibiza Cupra.

Is it requiers any adjustments ? the diameter is the same or bigger in the

Cupra ?

Will it increase or decrease performance?

The problem is I don't have an aperture in the rear bumper for the exhaust.

I tried to get the original diffuser but it's very expensive in israel:

?koda Accessories

Maybe you could help me find the original rear diffuser for less money or have any idea what can I do?

Thanks :)

shouldnt decrease any performance but wont gain any either id imagine. nice to see that some people are starting to change bits and bobs:cool: are you thinking about changing the full system to the cupra one? or just by welding the back box on. you might have a problem with mounting it if the latter is true. as you say, you will need to cut a hole in your bumper. is it worth it if your just going for a more sporty sound? stick a performance cone filter in. that will change the sound without the hassle of the zorst!

a more sporty sound?

= no sleep at night for anyone living near a road. Truly. But people who install noisy exhausts don't care about anyone else.

i agree, you want a good exhaust that will give better performance etc, you pay through the nose. so if your just gonna stick a back box on all you will do is make it go buuuuuuuuuuuuuuur lol
