New Model Fabia

Featured Replies

I asked a colleague at work today when the new restyled Fabia was due. He said that as far as they know it would be ".....end of 2005, and that's it". Not very useful information, and I'm not 100% sure exactly what he meant, but it certainly shows that the current style will be around for some time yet.

VW brought out the R32 right at the end of the MKIV production run, and they have brought out the Polo GT again at then end of the run as there is a new Polo next year. I was wondering whether the same policy also applied to the Fabia range with the vRS being the flagship model.

Being as Skoda have just revised small details on the Fabia as a facelift for 2005MY i'd be suprised if the model is replaced before 2006 (2007MY).

Skoda are quite busy with the Octavia II and launching all the variants of that inc the Estate.

Should be collecting my new Fabia vRS next Friday (2/9/04). According to the dealer it is not the facelift model, although he thought it would be a couple of weeks ago.

Dealer tells me that they were going to replace there Fabia demo cars in September but Skoda have told them to keep the current cars a little longer, at least into October as they cannot supply them with the facelift models as yet.

As other have said, dealer does not seem to think there are many changes with the vRS, so I am not too fussed at the moment.
