services, costs, and why every 10k?

Featured Replies

hey, kinda new on here, well joined when bought the vrs, but never been on since

got my fabia vrs limited ed booked in for 20k service,

firstly, how much should i expect to pay? (same garage bought the car from)

secondly, how much is it to replace brake fluid

thirdly, i've noticed some wet spots on the rear floor, and this seems to be coming in under the rear doors (both sides)

now knowing my rear doors are used less often than the pope's, what could be causing this?

and on the back of this, am i not right to say the new "bubble" fabia is infact the 3rd fabia? bearing in mind that there is the original fabia, then the fabia 1 as this forum calls it

dunno the dealer price myself but always more expensive than it should be. same with brake fluid.

rear doors leaking is a common fabia problem see this link great guide there for self fix but if you can get dealer you got it off to do it under warranty even better :Dhttp://briskoda.net/fabia-i/sealed-my-leaking-doors-today/127648/

You have a Fabia I

The 'bubble' Fabia is a Fabia II

Two models thus far.

Hi,

Is the leaking door feature also on the Fabia II?

Does ''kinda new'' mean the same as ''new''?

I've just had a 20k service done on a 1.9TDi Elegance and it cost £190 which included a change of brake fluid. The fluid cost about £27 but the cost of changing it was included in the service.

The wet spots are caused by leaking rear door seals. Re-sealing is a warranty job.
