I was wondering how many Estelles and Rapids are there left in the UK that are up and running?

Is there a way to find out how many 105's and 130's there are left? Is there a way to find out where they are?

Ive got a 120L5. Given a couple of hours and a good battery , i can have it up and running

FOIA and DVLA perhaps?

I imagine that much like the mk1 golf, the only ones left are those religiously maintained regardless of cost by passionate owners.

This is the sort of info that DaveRapid might well have legit access to.

IIRC Paul Wyatt of the SOCGB South Coast Section wrote to the DVLA about 3 years ago.

I think the figure then was roughly 40 Rapids 140 Estelles on their books

(I think that included SORN)

Paul does occassionally pop up on here, otherwise Dave might remember more accurately than me.

Mine is in a bit of a state at the minute

It has been pushed out of the garage and sheeted up, while i get my teardrop caravan built , Once it is done , the estelle will get the sill fork/ stiffening done ready for the roof to come off

Well, that's original; making a 4-door into a convertable!

It wont be a convertable, just a roofless roadster

As much as I would like to keep her wrapped up in the warm I can only afford 1 car so its out in all conditions...
