Brill, i got some xenon sidelights (501) as well , for FREE wahooo.

Nice one

Please note the Xenon equipped Furby has different bulbs (besides the Xenon ;))

Bright, but be aware that is is highly likely that they will last less time than a standard bulb of the same quality in the same conditions.

I got some of the phillips ones a few months ago. I took pics at night with them shining down the road at night and there was a define difference - but with day to day driving it didn't blow me away. I'll see if I can dig out the pics and post them tomorrow.

Here they are. You can gusee which one is which.

Same is true with any +xx% bulbs unfortunately. They seem to last better than the Osram Nightbreakers though which are their direct competition. This alone is reason enough for me to stick with the Xtremes when I do need to replace them... assuming that an even better bulb isn't on the market by them.

The +30% are not really affected from what I've read, the +50 are to a point and the +80/90% bulbs seem to give up much sooner.

FWIW the Osram silverstar +50% lasted much longer then the phillips vision plus IMHO so I think it's a case of the life being partly based on the particular bulb or batch as well as external factors.

I had the Extreme in my mx5 til recently. They have only lasted 18 months. Gone and got some Vision Plus ones now as i have had these before and they lasted ages.

Not much difference IMHO between the extreme and vision plus. AS the extreme lasted for such a short time it was not worth buying any more.

I'm looking to get a pair of these for my car can anyone recommend a good place to get them from?
