i have a problem for my octavia a5 1.6 litre automatic DSG

the problem is described exactly like on the site below

but i have no idea is that the only reason for that problem or not?

and where i can find that broken rivet for the differential falling for the gear box

any body can help , and where in can get it from Frankfurt?

the service center in egypt told me to get it with 1500 Euro

I have never seen any automatic gearboxes with a failing rivet/bolt in the differential.. All the gearboxes in your link were manual transmissions as far as I could see. Your gearbox is not a dsg if mated to a 1,6l petrol.

as jona said above i have never seen that problem with DSG only on the manuals, firstly is ur car DSG or normal auto?? thing is if there is a problem with the DSG skoda retailers arent allowed to strip it only supply a new box at a cost of £2000ish :(

That's not a DSG box for sure. It's a common failure on a manual 1.6 box.
