HI ALL new to this

have a 2005 octavia 1.9 tdi pd new model

changed timing belt & warter pump all good Q

drove the car for a few days and seemed to lose power

lifted the bonnet when i reved the engine the pipe feeding the vacum

seemed to deflate nearlt cut out the engine

put on the computer got these code

16603 po 299 turbo in one-

super charger wire

boost sensor (a operating

) circuit mode

underrboost

CAN YOU HELP

This code usually means a bad hose or a bad N75 solenoid valve. Vacuum hoses should not collapse, so I would say the hose is bad or is not a vacuum hose.

It might be something more simple. You need to have a diagnostic check done.

VNT vanes sticking is very common, could be much more simple such as N75..

I just found your other thread so I'll merge them both for you,

If you have a vacuum hose collapsing, then you need to get the hose replaced. You will get an underboost situation if the hose collapses and prevents VNT actuation.

The vanes can be cleaned if they are stuck but get that bad hose replaced first. To test the vanes, your mechanic should put a hand vacuum pump on the actuator hose and create a vacuum. This is the only way to see if the actuator is working correctly.

If you or your mechanic need to know what you are dealing with then take a look at
