Getting a Skoda at the weekend

Featured Replies

Hi all.

At the weekend I am collecting my first Skoda. A Fabia 1.9 TDI Elegance Estate with all the trimmings. It's an 04 plate and I will be the second owner. The original buyer seems to have added everything from SatNav to heated seats :)

My first question for the board (because I can't call the dealer again tonight) is do the wing mirrors fold in. Silly question I know and something I completely forget to check when viewing the car. I am guessing yes as my old 2000 Astra's does. In my street I need to fold them in.

Second question, what's the best boot liner to get for the Fabia Estate and where from.

Cheers.

Colin

Hi and Welcome!

I have a Fabia Estate too - the mirrors definitely fold in. Heated seats were standard on the Elegance spec btw.

hello and welcome:)

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. And for the info DavidY, I thought heated seats only came on posh cars. Guess I am getting one :)

I can't believe what a strong community Skoda has. I doubt my old Astra had a community. I hope to get along to one of the Maidstone meets, just can't make this months.

Does anyone have one of these boot liners Skoda UK Fabia >07 Estate/Saloon Rubber Boot Mat - DCD420001 and can say if they are any good. I have seen others on ebay, but this seems cheaper and goes into the corners at the rear.

Also anyone got one of these cup holders Skoda UK Fabia 6Y <07 Centre Console Cup Holder to Replace Ashtray - 6Y086326747H and can tell me if they are any good. I need my driving fuel :D

Thanks

Colin
