Speaker coincidence ?

Featured Replies

I had taken my mam shopping today, as i do every week. She wears a hearing aid, but always takes it out whilst in the shop..too much surround noise. She then puts it back in when she gets in the car.

Well, this has never been a problem, but when she got back in the car today, and switched it on, at exactly the same time, a loud distortion noise came from the rear speakers..she switched her aid off..still there, i switched the radio off...still there, so had to drive her home going nuts with this noise (she was ok, just switched her aid off !!)..anyway, unloaded the shopping, had a quick cuppa, and decided to call into my local dealer on the way back to my place....upon returning to the car, silence...., and it's been fine since,

It seems too much of a coincidence regarding the switching on of the aid, and the sound, but can't explain how it continued..any ideas WHAT ????:D

Think there is a dealer software update for the radio to fix that.
